Musing Mondays

MUSING MONDAYS… is a weekly event where MizB will ask a book/reading-related question, and   you answer with your own thoughts on the topic.

This week’s musing asks…

If you were going to write a book, what would you write about? Would it be fiction, or nonfiction?”

Lets see.. well I have three book ideas already.  I’m currently in the planning stage.  Drawing out story lines and figuring out the setting.  The most difficult  and most time-consuming is character development.  I want to really know who my characters are before I start writing a story.  I want to know what makes them happy, sad, what ticks them off and their own story.  So I’ll share them with you, tell me what you think.

For security sake I won’t release the titles just yet 😉

  • The first is a Christian fiction novel that can crossover to mainstream fiction.  Its based in a fictional town call Heaven and in this town a lot of people have secrets.  Some have even killed to keep them.
  • The second is a fiction.  It’s actually shaping up to be a series. But it is the story of a young woman fed up with dating and she decides to give up.  The story then takes you back to see how she got to this decision.
  • The third is a YA/Romance novel. It’s about love lost and the famous saying ” If you love something let it go and if it comes back its yours”.  Sometimes we have to fight for whats ours and that’s exactly what these characters do.

So… those are my babies.  What are your ideas?

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Musing Mondays post, or share your answer in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks! :D
